What is your DH's occupation???
Since I read the other post about our DH's spending time with the kids I was just curious what your DH's do for a living, his occupation?? I am lucky enough to have my DH home by 5:15 each day, he is a head mechanic for a Chevy Dealership. Just curious.
Dh is a mortgage consultant.
Mechanic on semi trucks at a food service company
Sales Representative for an Agricultral Products Distributor.
Area mananger for all of oregon besides portland, covers Bend, Salem, Eugene, Springfield and Coos Bay. Travels a ton. Has put over 35,000 miles on the car we bought in september. See him about 1 night during the week and most of the time weekends.
Newspaper photographer and pre-press technician. He gets a lot of pictures "ready" to be in the paper.
High school teacher as well as having his own accounting practice. (Going into education at age 49 is a mid-life crisis I can deal with! LOL)
Dh is a manager of a drug store
Computer programmer
DH has a flooring business. He sells carpeting, ceramic, hardwood.
My dh is an illustrator. You may have seen some of his work in the Scholastic Book order forms you get from school.
Dh is a Marine and sales home exterior products.
How cool Kathy! Dd brings those home all the time. Now every time I see one, I will wonder if he did it!
A musician/starving artist.But working full time right now doing sound installation.(thank you !!)
An Executive Director for a major Telecommunications Company.
Manager West Marine and a carpenter/ handyman on the side!

Manager for a major supermarket chain
Director of Business Development for a Sales Tax Recovery Firm. Travels at least 1 week out of every month.

A welder at steel company. They make steel joist for buildings. He's been there 19 years next week.
Retired Army but does some consulting for Contractors.
Air Force, for one more month! He's a Computer Crime Investigator/Analyst.
Advanced Development Engineer for major automotive supplier. Home by 5:15 everyday and refuses to stay any later (even before dd came along) because family comes first!! (I'm so lucky.)
Social worker, works with people with mental illness and does drug counseling.
gravel truck driver, he is home usually between 5 or 6.
Dh works in corporate sales.
My DH is a Forestry Technican. Kathy..I would love to know what Scholastic clubs he illustrates for. I send home SeeSaw and Elf.
Chief Operating Officer of a construction firm
Chemical Engineer for a large chemical company, he works in the polymer side of the business.
DH is a Finance Manager for Corky Mcmillin Companies and is about to get a promotion, after his Promotion he will be VP of Finance. We are very excited!!!!

For the last yr he has been International Infrastructure Mgr. Before that he was a Comp. Engineer...(for the same company)
Head of Business Development for Chemical, Biological Warfare government contracts. I think we know WAY more than we should... He travels often and is very much appreciated at work even though he puts family first. Home by 5:30pm most nights. (He's so cute first thing in the morning...he'll go get Connor and change his diaper and then come back in the bedroom to wake me up with this little Cutie Patootie right in my face!)

No, they don't do business in Canada. He doesn't deal with the tax side of things for McMillin. He helps buy property for the Commercial side of the company and gets funding for alot of the deals they do.
Sales manager for health/life insurance company. Actually he's been like a fish out of water since getting out of the USMC five years ago. He has sold automobiles, computer programmer, OTR truck driver, plumber journeyman and real estate agent (not in that order). He can do just about anything but can't decide what he really wants to be "when he grows up"!
He works in the London Underground (night shift) doing engineering and maintenance works.
Commercial refrigeration service technician. He works on and installs the large freezers and refrigerators in commercial buildings, also, he services commercial HVAC. He works very long hours, and is on "call" at least twice a month, but the time he is home, is quality time!!
Computer Database Programmer/Develops web sites, etc. for the past 5 yrs. He's a manufacturing engineer by trade. He picks up the kids from school & helps them with their homework everyday. It's wonderful.
Right now, he is active duty Army, but before his deployment, (and after I assume) he was/is a production supervisor for commercial print jobs at a local newspaper.
DH owns a Bicycle Store, he leaves for work between 8:30 and 9:00 AM and his home by 7 he commutes on his bicycle. He's able to take my ds to work w/ him 3 mornings a week and then to pre-k which is great because we live 20 mintues out of town. I work from 5-8 almost every morning and work out and he gets the kids ready for school, than is home in time for night time rituals, he usually just missed family dinner time, but always does the dishes. I can't complain, he has an easy schedule, does what he loves, finds time to train for marathons and spends lots of time w/ the kiddos and me!!
Dh is a log truck driver. He is close to home every night but is gone Monday thru Friday, and home 1 whole day in the middle of the week. We are hoping for a full-time position as Minister of Music in the church...soon. The girls are starting to get to the age where they miss their daddy really bad.
DH is currently cooking/helping his dad run his restaurant while he finishes up college.
District Manager for Baton Rouge Party City stores and responsible for seasonal ordering for Louisiana stores.
Well I think mine has the best job off all. He is a stay at home dad. We decided when I finished college and got a job that he would stay at home until Christopher (19 months) is ready for pre-school. So he takes care of the house and the kids while I am pursuing my career.

My dh works with a company that makes elevator parts.
Project estimator for a big construction company.
DH is a store manager (grocery) He started there when he was still in high school (worked from 2-10pm after school to help support me and our first DS) and has been there for 18 years now
