Had gallbladder surgery!
Well, I had my surgery, and all is well so far. But what a day I had, got there at 930 am, and surgery was scheduled for noon, but they were telling me that I would go in probably earlier. Well, there was a surgery that was going on before mine and complications arose and I didn't get into the general anisestha room till almost 2:00. It went fast for me, one minute I was talking with the nurses, the next minute I was waking up from the surgery. Lots of pain, they loaded me up with morphin and something else. And also gave me vicodin. I was pretty sore, and totally out of it. I couldn't go to the bathroom to pee, tried and tried, finally I am able to go, but do so frequently, I got up too many times to count, finally I just threw in the towel and got up. The dks and dh were totally sweet and doting, since besides my surgery it was also my birthday!!! I have eaten and haven't experienced anything unpleasant, yet. I am very thirsty though. Going to go rest...

Glad all went well for you! I had trouble peeing right after my surgery, too. Thought I would never go, so maybe that's normal? Happy Birthday, too!
Thanks everyone...! My dh said that it is the vicodin, guess I'll just have to bear with it till I start feeling better, hopefully by this weekend I'll feel alot better. Everyone have a good week...!
