I posted this on the parenting board and guess I should have posted it here....

I have a stupid question. Which I know some will say there is no stupid questions here... Why do some of the profiles show nothing at all in them...or show very little?? I know when doing your profile some things are required...but checking some profiles these required things are not there. Maybe a stupid question, but just curious???

Not stupid - most people delete their information once they are approved for privacy reasons.

After a member is approved he/she has the option of editing his/her profile so that it includes as much or as little info as they feel comfortable posting on the Net. MV staff members still have access to the information included in the original application.

After realizing that a simple google search of my user name brought up a bunch of my momsview posts, I deleted all identifying info on myself - and I came from momtomom and prior to that mommytimes.

It is required when you register for membership. Once approved, you have the option of editing your profile and deleting it.
