DH wakes me up on week days after he gets out of the shower. This morning he was all cuddly and whispered into my ear, "Happy Anniversary, Honey." In my half asleep state I'm thinking, "What?! Our anniversary is in August." He smiled and said, "Nineteen years ago today was our very first date! And that's NO April Fools!" LOL! OK, now I remember. Yes, our very first date was on April Fools Day in 1986. Shucks, too bad I had to get the kids up for school. Would have loved to cuddle and celebrate right then and there.
For some reason I knew this was your post Trina! Happy first date anniversary! What a sweet husband. Both my DH and I are horrible at remembering dates-we are lucky we both remember each other's birthdays.

How sweet. Dh and I dated for 3 months and got married. We got married in 2000 also, it is easy to remember how long we have been married.

That's really sweet! Neither my dh nor I remember when we had our first date. We were friends for so long and went places as friends that I guess our first "real" date didn't register as a memorable moment. LOL Enjoy your anniversary!
How Sweet!
Fun, fun! We just celebrated the 20th anniversary of our first date in January. How can I be old enough to celebrate the 20th anniversary of anything?
We don't really have an anniversary of our first date, either. Like Tunnia, we did so much together as friends before we dated, I don't even remember when that changed! lol Trina, have a fun evening! (wink, wink)
I'm in the same boat with Tunnia and Cat, we were friends for so long, I don't think we even actually went on a "date". That was super sweet, what a great hubby you have!
That's sweet that he remembered! Our first date was 11-7-86. He proposed on 3-14-87 We got married 10-24-87!
