WHICH ONE IS A LIE? A NEW GAME
Okay, we have been playing this on the weight watchers board and it is kind of fun. See if you can spot the lie.
1. Although both my husband and I have dark brown hair and eyes, both our biological kids are fair skinned blondes.
2. My IQ has been tested repeatedly all my life and I score between 168-175.
3. I ALWAYS (well, 90% of the time) win at checkers.
4. My fingernails are each 3 inches from my cuticles and I just had them airbrushed for Easter (not acrylics!)
5. I am a Christian Mentor for two women who are also Moms.

I think number 4 is a lie. Am I right?
Okay, my turn.
1. I love anchovies.
2. I am adopted.
3. I've never had my hair colored before.
4. I don't ever get manicures.

I think #4 is a lie?
Both wrong.

MM: either 3 or 4 is wrong, 'cause I'd like to see you try winning checkers 90% of the time with nails like that!!! I can't picture you picking up the pieces!! My guess is 4.

Ya'll are right! I can't fool you!! I am Mommy to two kids and three pets!! My fingernails are cut short and kept clean and that's about it.

The kids are fair skinned blondes because of a recessive gene from my Mom and DH Mom. One of my daughters even has crystal clear BLUE eyes! (to mine and hubby's dark brown ones)
My IQ is in the top 1% of the world. Unfortunately, I was raised in poverty and abuse so I did not have the emotional/financial support to use it for my good. Now I have a gifted daughter and I am making sure she has lots of great opportunities. As well as a very bright younger daughter who is a joy to me.
I ALWAYS win at checkers. I have been playing checkers since I was a very little girl. My beloved Grandfather taught me to play.
And I have mentored two women at my church. One for two years, one for just a few months. And God has blessed the relationships.

I took my two darlings to gymnastics yesterday and there WAS a woman there who actually DID grow her fingernails three inches long and had them airbrushed pretty pink for Easter. That is where I got the idea.

My five statements:
~I fidget all the time. My hands are constantly in motion, even if I have to hide them under a table or in my lap.
~My favorite food is potatoes. I haven't found a way I don't like them.
~I hate birds. It is nearly a full-blown phobia. They are creepy and scary.
~I've made it halfway through degrees in library science, accounting, and art history. I can't make up my mind.
~I was pregnant with twins and lost one of them four months through the pregnancy. That has been the saddest moment of my life to date.

1. In my life i have dated 3 guys who have a twin, and now both my sisters have twins
2. I am ambidextrious (sp?) and so is my dd
3. my maid of honor has now told me she is a lesbian.
4. I was in a friends wedding and havn't spoken to her since the wedding.
Whoops i screwed that up! They are all true!

Tink is losing a twin during pregnancy, as again she has never talked about that. Both those things just seem like things that would have come up at some point....

LOL, Kym. I HAVE read GWTW that many times, and I've seen the movie about that many, too! So the lie was that I'm divorced--I'm not, I'm going on 15 years of marriage this June.
I think #3 is your lie, Kym.

LOL, since your profile says you have four kids, the youngest being 10 months (provided your profile is up to date) I figured that was the only likely suspect. One can never have too many shoes, ointment and nougat, as well as the bar story seemed too specific, so it was between comedian and vasectomy. Your profile info convinced me.
No I don't have any part of my degree in library science, accounting or art history, although I have had an interest in each! I did lose a twin but it's painful and I prefer not to talk about it much, and I REALLY hate birds! I guess I managed to fool all of you. I think Crystal could have guessed easily. So there aren't any new lies to guess yet?

I was a cheerleader who hid her secret geek side in high school.
I have only had sex with one other guy besides my husband (and only once with him).

1) I have known my husband since 3rd grade.
2) Our family dog growing up was a German Shepherd.
3) I have traveled to Mexico, Nicaragua, Switzerland, England, Canada, France, Belgium, Belarus, and Germany.
4) I am not afraid of spiders.
5) I got pregnant with both of my children on the first try.

Tink got mine right, hate to be touched and cuddled! I was cheerleader and voted most likely to succeed. On pets, I have no use for them (they liked to be touched..lol), but we have a cat, a golden retriver, and a hermit crab. I didn't count all the fish we have with that..lol

I know you have a basset now, I think that is the type of dog you had growing up, so that is my guess on your lie.
Nope to all. Ha Ha I tricked you! I have traveled a lot and been to all of the countries listed except Belarus. My DH has been there though, so that's my lie.
Here's mine...I've been out of town & just got back online today. I've had a blast reading all of these.
1) I met my husband on Yahoo personal ads.
2) I'm 6'4".
3) Whenever I cook - the words fire, smoke and call the fire department are generally spoken.
4) I wear a size 12 shoe & own over 50 pairs of them.
5) I have two tattoos, one of a pink flamingo on my right ankle and another one of a college mascot on my left ankle.
Ummmm....well, my sister is tall and she wears a large shoe. So, I'm gonna guess that #2 and #4 are true. And you are probably involved in sports,atheletes are tall, and flamingos are long and leggy like tall people and mascots represent sports teams so I'm gonna believe the tatoo one #5. So, the two I have doubts about are #1 and #3.
Now, most Moms eventually have to learn how to cook because kids get hungry. So #3 (might?) be true.
So I am gonna guess that #1 is the lie.
Great rationalization...but not quite right...here's the scoop...
1) Met my DH on the Yahoo personal ads 5 years ago. We've been married now for 3 years.
2)I am 6'4".
3)I'm a great Southern cook who tends to go overboard whenever I turn an oven or stove on. I get too many things going at once & alas smoke and fire have become part of the meal one too many times.
4)I do wear a size 12 & own over 50 pairs = much to my DH's dismay. If I find a pair, I generally buy them & then find an outfit to match.
5) This is the lie - no tattoos.
