14 hours of sleep!!?!
Yep, that's what I got last night. I have been absolutely exhausted with my school, kids' school, work (we had 2 speech therapists resign/asked to leave and 1 go on maternity leave a month early all the same week), youth group stuff, and life in general. I worked from 7:45 am to 5:30 pm yesterday and every one of my patients came for therapy. It's typical to have at least one cancellation during the day, so I had to stay late and finish my paperwork. At about lunch yesterday I kept having chills, a horrible headache, and my legs were really achey---thought I was getting the flu. Then my left eye started twitching. Came in the door at 6:00 pm kissed DH and the boys and went to bed. DH cooked supper for the boys and got them in bed. So...I slept from 6 pm-8 am this morning. I woke up briefly at 10 pm and ate some Ritz crackers and M&Ms (mmm...nutritious), put on my jammies, and back to bed. I don't have the flu. Diagnosis: Exhaustion. It's beautiful, warm, and sunny. Today will be a great day!
Yes, today will be a great day. I got 10 hours of sleep. I'm glad that you got the well needed and deserved sleep.
Glad you both were able to get some rest!
Mmmm....I got to sleep an extra hour this morning and woke up feeling sooo much better than I have lately. I'm so glad that both of you got such good nights' sleep too!
I'm so jealous! My son and daughter just started sharing a room. She wakes up around six six thirty and coos, wakes my son and then goes back to sleep. Of course he's up for the day. So, not being a morning person to begin with, I'm really cranky! Ame
I've done that before. So glad you got your much needed rest. I hope you take it as a sign you are spreading yourself too thin. Step back and drop anything that is not a priority.
Feels great to do that, doesn't it?!? I did that a few weekends ago, so I understand how it feels to be that tired.
