I did it! I had lasik Friday. Now I can see really well. It's kind of weird sometimes because my vision is still fluctuating. The dr. said it does that for a few days up to a few weeks. One second I'll see 20/20 then the next it's blurry for a few seconds. I called again today just to make sure although it isn't happening as often and the nurse said it's normal. I just wanted to see if anyone else has had this.

Actually it was lasik with intralace, so they didn't use a blade at all. It's supposed to be better for halos, dryness, and to be more precise.

I would love to get it done, but it's expensive and you can't be either pregnant or nursing so that rules me out for at the very least another year.

It's great! I can see 20/20! Get it done if you can at all afford it. They do have one year interest free financing. We did it with our tax refund. My eyes are slightly red, but that's all a part of it. They're supposed to clear up within 3 weeks. If any of you have questions, I'll try to answer them.
