Spring is arriving
Spring is arriving in our area of the world. It's been a weird winter here. We had a white Christmas with about three snows since then - covering the ground for one hour or so. But, the daffodils are in full bloom, the forsythia is blooming, saw redbuds blooming yesterday & the dogwood is looking really pretty. In my travels to the south everything has peaked or is peaking right now. The robins are chirping & in full force in our yard. We toy with 30 degree weather & then it's to be 60s today & tomorrow. It's absolutely gorgeous.
Spring is pretty much here too, although we have been cold and wet this week - highs below 60, lows in the 40's. I noticed on my way to work this morning the azaleas are blooming all over the place. We should be nearing 80 again by Sunday.
We had a dusting of snow last night but it is supposed to get better tomorrow, in the 50's. I can't wait until I can pack away the heavy coats. We have been in since Monday afternoon because I can't stand to get out in the cold, just last week they wore capris and short sleeved shirts this week we would have had to pull out the sweaters. Hopefully it will get warm and stay that way..
We are at 35 degrees and no snow, so maybe spring is coming this way. I hope
We are 38 right now with rain tomorrow but 50's this weekend they say. I hope so just give me 60 and sunny all year round and I am happy!!!!
Spring has definitely come here! Daffodils are almost past their prime already and our temps are in the 60's and 70's. I've had the house opened up for the last couple of weeks just enjoying the fresh air and beautiful weather. We went for a drive in the foothills and everything is soooo green!
It snowed last night - boo hoo!
About 36 here today. Now, below freezing, with 3-5 inches of snow on the way! Wanna move to WI, from Arkansas? Yeah, right. My daffodils and grape hyacinths are growing, but nowhere near blooming yet.
