Not MORE Snow? *whine*
We have 4-6 inches of the white stuff predicted for later today. Statement as of 3:33 AM CST on March 17, 2005 ... Snow Advisory in effect from 6 PM this evening to 6 am CST Friday... The National Weather Service is issuing a Snow Advisory for tonight. Snow will spread across much of south central and southeast Wisconsin today. The intensity of the snow is expected to pick up later this afternoon and evening across central Wisconsin. Snowfall accumulations of 4 to 6 inches will be possible tonight from Reedsburg and The Dells east to Montello... Green Lake... Portage... Fond Du Lac... Beaver Dam and Sheboygan. Be prepared for deteriorating travel conditions later today and tonight. Nooooooo. I have a 12yo who wants our world to be snow-free by her birthday next Wednesday. This isn't part of the plan. Her theory is that she has a spring birthday, so their shouldn't be snow on the ground. It isn't going to work. Not by a long shot! We just aren't warm enough and now to get even more snow! Ugh! Where is spring?
Gees Dawn, you guys are really getting nailed!! We have been lucky the last week with no snow and I hope it continues this way!! I can finally see some grass in my yard
We only have piles of snow now where the plows have pushed it otherwise all of the yards are totally cleared. I think we might be done finally. I hope. I know I am totally ready for spring.
Part of my yard is completely cleared and part of my yard still has snow! We haven't seen the whole yard, since we started getting snow!
KEEP IT IN WISCONSIN!!!
Green Lake... Montello... Portage... Sheboygan ... Winter Storm Watch in effect tonight into Saturday morning... The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for tonight into Saturday morning for a portion of south central Wisconsin... from Prairie Du Sac and Baraboo east to Columbus... Beaver Dam and Sheboygan. Other cities included in the watch are Fond Du Lac... Green Lake... Montello and Elkhart Lake. There is a potential for 6 inches of snow in these areas tonight into Saturday morning. We only got a dusting overnight. Apparently, more is on the way to hit us tonight. Did I mention that the first day of spring is on Sunday?
We woke up this morning and have 5 inches of the stuff! More is predicted this weekend. *sigh* I am speechless .
Yeap, I'm sure my white stuff is headed your way. Everytime, we get to see too much grass, it snows again! Part of my yard hasn't seen the light of day, since we started getting snow in January!
Ditto Colette. Keep it there. They are not sure if we will be getting hit with this one or not. I hope not, there is still at least 2 feet of snow that needs to melt before we can even start to see the grass.
Now, we are under a Winter Storm Warning, with 8-10 inches of snow predicted for tonight and tomorrow! Ugh. It keeps getting worse.
You have my sympathy. I still have 2 feet of regular snow in my yard and that is not counting the drifts at the end of the driveway from shoveling/snowblowing. Those are way over my head.
Well girls no snow her on Vancouver Island ( B.C ) the sun has been shining, and the grass is green, and the birds are chirping, sorry had to gloat a bit here. We only had a couple of snow falls and it all melted and was gone in no time. I bought shorts today!! lol
Snowing like crazy now! Will be interesting to see how much we have in the morning.
I would say my usual statement...you know, the one about ya'll sending just a little of the white stuff my way...but,I won't. lol But the other morning we actually did get enough to make our yards white.I sat in my kitchen and watched it falling sooooo beautifully from the sky...all 30 minutes of it !!!!!!!!
I would if I could! LOL!
