We are planning to take a day and visit St. Augustine this summer on our way to Disney World. Have you lived near there or visited? What would you recommend we take the time to see?
I'm trying to plan it so we will spend about 5-6 hours there, so we are limited in what attractions we can see. I was hoping to visit the Village and the Fountain of Youth. Any other suggestions? Thanks! :)

I live about 25 minutes from there! We love it there! I used to live there a few years ago! St. George st is definetely a fav! There are lots of goodies and the beach is nice as well! Bea mentioned most of the tourist attractions! It is worth stopping for- very quaint and beautiful!

I live near Orlando & we've been there a couple of times. The most recent was about 2 years ago & the only time we've been with the kids. I would definately take the Train Tour b/c you can get off & on at different highlight spots. My older boys (10 & 7) at the time loved it there! We visited the Castillo De San Marcos (Old Fort), St George St., took a tour of Flagler College (it was a Flagler Hotel), and went to the light house acrossed the bridge. We only had about 5-6 our of sight seeing time also. Have fun!

We went there when we evacuated and it was really nice! However, at that time Ripley's was closed for repairs. My kids were bummed. Maybe they are open now? Even tho a lot of it is historical the kids still oved it.
