DH and I are laughing because we can't agree on which is correct. Help! LOL! Noon time = 12:00 a.m. Midnight = 12:00 p.m. OR Noon time = 12:00 p.m. Midnight = 12:00 a.m. Which is correct, red or green? DH is sure green is correct but I don't think so! One minute past Noon = 12:01 p.m. One minute past midnight = 12:01 a.m.. Right?! Please tell me I'm correct or I'll have egg on my face! LOL!
Green. LOL. I love it someone argues over things like this.
I always say Noon is 12:00pm and Midnight is 12:00am. Sorry.
Found this which says neither is correct! LOL
I'm in a "green state" with your dh on this one. Sorry!
Green Wins this one.
Green
green ...lol
Green wins here but my DH would say that red wins. We have this conversation all the time. LOL, and to think that we were the only ones.
Green
green
Green, sorry Trina!
Green!
green! LOL!
Green here too!
Add another green. My alarm clock says it's 12 AM at midnight. The alarm clock is always right. (Except when it's going off)
DOH! I'm an idiot! Of course DH is loving this. Thanks for the link, Sunny. At least I know there is some merit to my mix up! LOL!
I always say 12:00 Noon, and 12:00 Midnight. Just because of this confusion.
I was always taught that green was the correct one.......
Sorry. I was taught that green was correct.
Noon time = 12:00 p.m. Midnight = 12:00 a.m.
Green here too...
green!
I'm pretty sure neither is correct I think it's either midnight til 12:01 AM and noon til 12:01 PM
green is for sure correct.
green!
I always say green too... sorry!
green here too...funny you should mention this.EVERY EVERY EVERY time DH goes to set the alarm for the next day he always asks" is the morning am or pm ?" I always thought it meant "AT MORNING (am)" and "PAST MORNING (pm).
Green!
Well, technically, neither is correct, because PM means Post Meridian and AM means Ante Meridian. If it is the meridian, it isn't before or after! I have heard it said though that by the time you finish saying it, it is before or after though (in seconds) so you don't have to wait until 12:01. So, yes, with that qualifier- green is correct!
