Hi! I'm Adena. Married for almost seven years. Have a dd and ds, 3rd and Kindy, respectively.

We live in SW VA, near the KY border.

I'm living with a condition the drs. think is MS, so am on Disability, though am in a sort of remission, so I am working as the Homeless Coordinator at my children's school, and I also substitute teach as needed, and as I feel up to it.

I am an animal lover and we have 14 pets, including dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, and a ferret.

Hi, I'm Dawn and I live on "wonderful snowy WI!" (note the gritted teeth and sarcasm!). We have about an inch of snow on the ground and I guess we aren't supposed to get a whole lot more. Tomorrow, it's supposed to get good and chilly. I guess what better way to greet the end of February!

On the bright side, the daffodils next to my house are sprouting! Yay! Maybe spring is on the way!

Mom to Sarah 15.5 and Emily almost 13, and Jasmine, probably 2yo, but we don't know for sure. She is an Australian cattle dog, that we adopted last April.

Hi~ I am Conni (soon to be 33), live in Arkansas (for about 20 yrs now!)... Married to dh 6 yrs in April (together 7 yrs now). We are a blended family so I can relate to you if you are in the same type family (it can be tough some days lol). 4 boys between us age's 22, 12.5, 11, 4.5 yrs old. We are also holding our baby back-- so again if you are doing that or did this with one of your children then I'd love to hear about your experience!

We have a lab trio (one of every color). Black lab, chocolate lab and a new 5 mo old yellow lab. We love lab's if you cant tell! lol I am considering getting my dogs trained to do Pet Therapy. I am looking for a class for my chocolate and yellow lab right now! If you have experience with this I'd love to chat with you.

I have been a SAHM for about 12 yrs now. During that time I went back to work full time when I got divorced-- so I *was* a single mom for a time and can certainly appreciate and relate to what single Mom's are going thru to get it all done. My dh travels on long trips now and I still get lots of time as a single mom with him gone. He also works very long hours and on weekends sometimes-- so again I feel like a single parent many weeks and can respect what single parents do.

I had hoped to be a nurse one day. But with dh's demanding career and with 3 boys at home keeping me busy 24/7 it just hasnt happened yet.

I'm a 30 year old first time mom of an 8mth old dd, Natalie. My dh and I have been married for 7 years next week, and together for 13. He is the absolute best husband and dad. I've been a kindergarten teacher for 6 years and am halfway done with my Master's in elem. educ. I'm currently taking a year leave of absence and look forward to going back half-days in the fall. We have a quiet home in the country which we love and two jack russell terriers that were our babies before our dd came along last June. Our parents have pictures of their 'grand doggies' just like they do of our daughter! I've always beena stamper, but now am totally into scrapbooking. I love to read, play the piano, and shop (which I don't get to do too much now that I'm on one income!! I love this board soooo much and weird as it may seem, it makes you feel like you have some company during the sometimes lonely days of being a mommy!

I used to sell on ebay but now have too full a schedule with homeschooling and baby-sitting for a friend. I homeschool my two children (Jessica 10/Addison 8). We are on our second year of homeschooling. We live in South Florida and love boating and snorkeling. I am addicted to HGTV and love doing home improvement and craft projects. My hubby is in the process of creating a studio for me so I can be more creative. I love Moms view! It has helped me with several inlaw issues and just general mommy issues. We just recently moved to Jacksonville Florida from the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Both of us are originally from Virginia. I love Florida! We lived on a sailboat for three years before DD! We spent winters sailing in the Bahamas or Florida and summers in NC! It was a blast! I am fairly new to moms view and think I may be addicted! I also do alot of work with La Leche League and used to run a post partum discussion group before we moved! No pets!

Our furry kids include our 7 year old Golden Retriever, Brisco, & our recently adopted everything dog, Keezy.

I am a mom through adoption, birth, adoption, and specialized foster care x 4.
Six of my kids have/had special needs of some sort, ranging from learning differences to severe cerebral palsy.
In my life before children, I was a resource teacher - working with kids with special needs.
We live in Ontario, just north of Toronto.

I'm Kristie and I am 29. I have been with dh for 9 years now and married for almost 7. I am a mom of 2 boys, Russell who is 6 and Kristoffer who went to play with Angels in Heaven when I was 18 weeks pregnant with him. (I always acknowledge him when I speak about our family)
We live in Casper Wyoming. My mom and step dad have a ranch outside of town and we have it both ways, town and country liveing!! I spend most of my time volunteering(sp) in my ds kindergarten class and trying to figure out what to do with my life now that there is no reason for me to not have a job. We have 2 parakeets the boy is Chico and the girl is Chica. Ds has also just became the daddy to a bunch of sea monkeys!!

Hi, I am Nicki and new here. (This is a great thread!) I live in Northern California with my husband and our two year old daughter, Lara. I am a SAHM and my daughter and I spend our days outside whenever possible enjoying our life in the country. We live on two wooded acres with a running stream, wild turkeys, lots of birds and daily visits to our neighbor's goats. Guess you can tell we like animals! Two cats of our own, and a friendly dog next door that goes on walks with us. My husband is a computer systems engineer and is the one who got me going on the computer a few years ago. As much as I want to hang them on a hook sometimes,..they are such wonderful kids and I think I take that for granted sometimes.

I manage an Aldo shoe store and love it...especially for the employee discount.

My name is Stori. (yes Stori, lol) & I have 2 children. A soon to be 6 year-old boy and a girl who just turned 12. We live in sunny California. We have two dogs and one cat. I work every Saturday, which is actually alot of fun. It gives me time away and still allows me to take care of my children's needs. As of next fall I will be attending college to obtain my degree in Hygiene. I hope to be a Hygenist by the time my son starts 4th grade! I have so many things to be thankful for in my life and the group of women at this site have helped me through many issues. Thanks a million girls, I luv ya!

My name is Lisa and I live in Michigan with my dh of almost 15 years and our son who is 8.

We have a 3-yr-old dog, a yellow lab-airdale terrier mix named Cocoa, and an 11-yr-old cat named Nikki.

As much as I love Michigan, I could do without winter! I have always gotten spring fever around February and March. They are the hardest months of the year, what with all the cold bugs going around. My ds even asked me the other day- "Why is it that in all the movies and on TV, it's always summer? It's always sunny and warm outside, but we have to wait for MONTHS to get warm weather!"

I have been trying to spend less time on the computer and more time with family lately, so I haven't been checking in every day, but I still enjoy coming here more than any other place on the internet!

Hi! My name is Annie. Dh and I have been married for 14 years. Our home is in FL. We have four kids; three girls ages 13 to 9 and a son age 7. I am a SAHM but have recently completed a real estate class and am now studying to take the state exam.
We have a 13 year old golden blend dog with cushing syndrome, a three year old German Sheperd, a two year old cat, named Domino and a hamster named Rufus.
I love to read, visit this site daily, enjoy cooking and walk daily about three miles.
