What's the name of that company that delivers food?......

I need to find a caterer that delivers nightly meals to our home. Since the baby has come I have not had dinner ready until after 10pm every night. We are going crazy on this schedule to put it mildly. DH has made several meals, but he doesn't even get home til late, so having him cook doesn't get our food to our mouths any sooner. Swans? or something like that?

And if anybody asks how they can help tell them BRING FOOD :)

Get some frozen dinners for a while...like stock up at the grocery and just use those until you get a better schedule going. Do you have any family nearby? When we had a new baby, lots of family brought meals in the evenings which was really nice. Also think about using your crockpot. You can throw any meat and potatoes in in the AM (skins and all!) and will be good to eat by evening. I was just thinking if you find there's some downtime earlier in the day you could do a crock meal. Those have saved me alot! Hope things get better for you. Just remember this schedule won't last forever! My dh always reminded me of that when dd was tiny and nothing seemed 'normal' anymore.

Schwans is VERY good!!! I think they deliver every 2 weeks. You can place your order online anytime so its convenient. DH and I did that for a while.

Deanna had some good ideas. For now frozen dinners would be good and the crock pot is an excellent idea.
You will be surprised when you are at the grocery store how many quick fix frozen things there are.
Good luck and I hope you get back to the norm quickly.
With 3 kids I know how hard it is but things will get better:)

I am not a huge fan of Schwann foods, love their ice cream though!
I would go to the grocery and get a big bag of chicken breasts, pot roast, brisket, pork roast and a bunch of frozen veggies. Also buy cans of diced tomatoes, pasta sauce, broth and pastas.
You could make tons of different things in your crock pot with those.
I found that I had time in the am after breakfast so toss something in and be done with it.

Thanks for the ideas. The bad news is, I hate veggies or fruits that are not fresh so frozen or canned is really nothing I would choose to eat. I do have some canned stuff I use in an emergancy, but yuck. The good news is, I like fresh veggies and fruits :). DH and I are both spoiled in that I like "real food." I don't even walk down the frozen aisle at the store, unless I am in the mood for ice cream, which isn't too often.

I made speghetti from my homemade frozen stuff I had, and still between preparing the salad, setting the table and feeding DS it was 9:30p when it was ready. Last night, I started dinner at 3:30p and we ate at 7PM when I finally completed it. This breast feeding thing is driving me NUTS!!!! Can scream? DS is not a good feeder and I am sitting in a chair ALL DAY with him after noon time. It last that way until he finally sleeps at night. His 4am, 7am and 11am are pretty good and he seems content. The rest of the time he cries every time I force him off of me after nursing for more than an HOUR!~ Today I had him on breast from 3pm to 5:30pm and finally I gave in and gave him formula just so I could get dinner done. I am so frustrated! Okay, done complaining.

Yep, I am not a big fan of frozen/canned either, but didn't know how often you wanted to go to the grocery store.

I use the Crock Pot about 2 times a week, that really seems to help get dinner on the table without much fuss. MY DD is almost 8 months and I have a 4 year old, I know how hard it can be to get a healthy dinner on the table. I just try to plan it out and make simple, healthy meals. I don't cook on the weekends we eat out so I get a break. :)

There are some yummy ideas on the recipe board.

Hang in there with the nursing- it will slack off! Try throwing together a mushroom pesto lasgne or regular kind- can be frozen first. Pasta is always quick and easy! Some fresh veggies with garlic and olive oil. Crock pot ca nstill be done without frozen or canned- try whole chicken with fresh tomatoes, herbs and potatoes.

Most definitely use fresh veggies in the crockpot!
