arranged for my in laws to come over and watch our children so he could take me out to dinner for my birthday. It was so sweet of him.

We went to Plumbush Inn Here. It was magnificent. We had escargot - which I love, but have not had in a very long time, smoked trout - which I've never had and was yummy, Chateaubriand cooked perfectly, and some very fine Chateau Lafitte-Rothschild wine.

I can't remember the last time I got to go out dressed like a woman and enjoy a fine dinner with my husband. It was the best birthday!
