My wonderful father earned his angel wings early this morning. He hadn't even been formally diagnosed with cancer yet, and he's already gone.
I can't even begin to explain what a wonderful father and man he was. I am going to miss him so very much.

I lost my dad a year ago this month. It was Feb.13th.
Make sure you give yourself time to greive. I did'nt. I pushed it out of my head and tried to not think of it. It's been a year and I still think of him everyday. This is such a hard time for you, I know. The pain gets a little easier with time. Remember the good times, memories is what keeps them alive in your heart.

Marcia, I am so sorry about your Dad. I lost my Dad twenty years ago, and I still miss him like it was yesterday.

He MUST have been a wonderful man because look at the kind and loving daughter that he has in you. The best way to honour him is to keep loving and reaching out to others, like you do already.

Also, as you and I have shared in the past, watch for signs. He will let you know that he is still around, as we both know.

Thanks for all of your prayers and kind words.
Hol, I take complete comfort in knowing that he's still here with us. I'm sure I will see signs soon, but I've been in too much of a fog to notice anything at this point.
The viewing is today, and I'm working on collages to display. The funeral is tomorrow morning. It's going to be a rough couple of days, but I have a wonderful family, and we are a great support to one another.
