Ovulation Kit Question (TMI for some)
The ovulation kit that I bought (generic SavOn brand) says that it predicts when you are going to ovulate between 24-48 hours prior to ovulating. I read the insert and was trying to figure out if it also tells you if you are ovulating at that time. I dont know if the hormone levels drop between pre-ovulation and ovulation itself so I was just wondering. I definitely feel that icky crampiness that is usually felt during ovulation. I'm off to read some fertility sites but thought i'd ask for input here as well.
The type I had ,the line would get darker the closer to ovulation. You need to know at least a day before you ovulate, because if you waited until the day, it would be too late. If you want to be really sure, you could temp. I have a good website where you can chart you temperature and it explains how to do it. I did this for a few months. Just let me know if you want it.
There is an excellent site that I went to while trying to conceive my last baby. It is fertility friends.com They have a daily chart to put your temp, and it shows you when you ovulate. I did this for a few months to find out when I ovulated. I found that charting my temp was the best way. I was trying to have a girl baby so that is why I was doing this....it worked for us. We now have a 18 mth. dd to go with our 2 ds's
