How? Do you remove salt stains from suede boots?
Thanks!

Rubbing alcohol may work. I know that Doc Martens has a cleaning solution for their leather/suede shoes that is alcohol. It works wonders on them. Test a small area first. You can also look for suede cleaner for furniture, or from a big leather company like Wilson's Leather. I found this on in a Google search... Removing Salt Stains From Suede Shoes With suede you can't use oil based cleaners as they will stain the suede more than the salt. Try a mild blend of 1 teaspoon of dish washing detergent and fabric softener in 500 ml of luke warm water. First brush the suede with a shoe brush to loosen and remove any salt and dirt that may be removed. Spray some of the solution on evenly over the suede and lightly brush it in. Wide off with a cloth dampened with clean water. Allow to dry then rub the suede with light sand paper to recover the texture. You may also try asking for a suede cleaner at a leather clothing store or a shoe store.
Quite a few sites recommend getting them cleaned professionally, which you should be able to do for under $20.
I think the shoe store said dry tooth brush first..... Thanks for the advice though. They are black suede ugh imitations. The boots are only a hundred dollars so I would wipe with water first before having them cleaned for $75....
