Good Excercise for "Hip Humps"
Moms View Message Board: Let's Get Fit! (Weight Loss Support Group): Good Excercise for "Hip Humps"
I'm getting to enjoy the Treadmill. I feel much more energetic and good about myself. However, after I walk on the Treadmill, I am looking to do a few exercises. Mostly, I have "Hip Humps" that I would like to trim down. They are these humps on the upper back of my hips that have grown huge. They sit on the back of the waistline. Does anyone have any exercises for this area? What muscle is this?
I've just gotten those since menopause. So if you find out, tell me too! LOL
I do a lot of trunk twists (I don't know how else to describe them!) with weights and I do feel like this has helped this area of my body! I never had them until pregnancy! I do a a far twist, fairly quickly, from side to side with wrist weights, legs wide. ??? I think it has helped me at least.
Happy Friday everyone...I went and got weighed in measure i gained 1 1/2 pounds but i lost 3 inches = ) ...
Is it muscle? Because will exercise help decrease a muscle? If it is muscle than I think it will just get smaller as you lose weight.
Oh my goodness! I'm menopausal too! Oh, the things to look foward to. Bigger ears, hair growing where it's not supposed to (I found a really long one on my CHIN...it was white, and I'm a brunette!), hot flashes, wrinkles, dryness and now hip humps. I have younger friends that say that it must be nice not to have a period anymore, but I would trade all of the above, for a kotex. LOL!
