I started going to the gym about a month ago. I go three times a week. I've been trying to work up to four but don't seem to be able to make myself go on weekends! Anyway, I'm trying to eat four to five small "meals" a day mixing a carb and a protein. For example, I'll eat an egg and one piece of toast for breakfast. Then, about three hours later I'll eat one small piece of fruit and a tablespoon of peanut butter or small piece of cheese or cottage cheese. Then about three hours later a few nuts and raisins or yogurt, etc. For dinner I'm trying to eat low fat, low carb. and smaller portions than usual. So far I've lost about 6 lbs. I've also stopped eating past 7:30 at night. We'll see how it goes! The holidays will be a challenge!
The lady in charge of my weight watchers meeting is always telling us "They are holiDAYS not holiWEEKS or holiMONTHS" Eating what you like on one day in moderation isn't as hard as you think..
That's good advice! I'll have to remember that!
