I had a little victory today. I put on a pair of light tan linen pants that just a month ago were too tight and THEY FIT!!! I must be doing something right. We also spent an hour at the pool and my bathing suit wasn't tight and I wasn't embarrassed to wear it! YEAH, ME!!! Just thought I'd share. How's everyone else doing???
Yea!!!! Way to go Cat!! I am definitely toning up!! I am doing great with exercise. Ok with food, not great, but not terrible. Okay, well a little terrible this weekend. I am loosing, but very slowly. Really, I am now 40 years old. I am looking at this more as being healthy, not the number on the scale. I am starting to notice a big difference in how I feel when I eat a lot of carbs. They really have a terrible effect on me now, so I am working on cutting back on those. Anyone else?

Cat, that'a great!!! It makes it all worth it, doesn't it?! Good luck in cutting down on the carbs. I'm doing a lot of that, too. And you're right, it's about being healthy. (But looking better in a bathing suit is just a plus!) I didn't do so well this weekend. I ate waaay too much at a cookout, and didn't get to the gym. And the worst thing, IMO, was that I ate Burger King! Do you know how long it's been since I've had fast food?! (It sure did taste good, though...) I do my weekly weigh-in of myself Monday mornings, and I gained a pound this week. But, today is another day! I WILL be good this week! Hope everyone finds some inspiration this week!
That is great! I'm happy for you, that is a great feeling. Way to go!!! When I first tried going gluten free I lost 10 pounds in a week. The doctor said that is an indicator that your body hasn't tolerated the wheat and is holding on to fat. I haven't had the gluten and I've been losing a pound a day for the past 3 days. I go back and forth between using the scale daily and not. I don't let it get me down if I gain a little because of the fluctuations. My scale does ounces though and it can be motivating to see a couple ounces go away. The most important thing for me -no binges!!!!!!!
