How was your day?? Did you get any workout in today? I didn't other than my 10K steps, and I probably won't make it to the gym until Sunday, so I am going to try for 15K steps tomorrow. (I'll be spending more time on the floor helping agents, since we have fewer support staff in on the weekends.) How about points? I am doing pretty well, I've got 7 points left to use tonight. I know the eBay lady's instructions said not to under-eat, but I have been staying under in hopes of getting a jumpstart to the weight loss. Hope you had an awesome day!
I didn't have such a great day. The fudge and cookie brittle called my name this afternoon. BUT, we went to the commissary tonight and I stocked up on low point meals (Smart Ones and Lean Cuisine) and low/no point snacks. HOPEFULLY that will help. I've been eating lots of veggies and salads (good thing I like them! lol). I even picked up a new dressing--Wishbone Raspberry Bliss spritzer--NO points and really yummy! No exercise again today. Whenever I start a new diet it really seems to sap my energy until my body gets used to it. I'll try and get something done tomorrow. I think I need to either freeze that fudge or throw it out. It'll be gone soon, either way. Great job today, Crystal!!!
How was your Saturday, Crystal? I did great today! Of course I didn't feel well this morning so that helped me keep my points down! lol We ate at the food court at the commissary/bx today and I had one soft taco--5pts. We also stopped by Wendy's while waiting for dh's truck (got the oil changed) and dh had a frostie (I have lots of coupons for free small ones! lol) and I tasted it because he got the vanilla and insisted it was really good--I only had 1/2 a spoonful! He asked me if I wanted to get another spoon and eat half and I said no! Then chicken salad for dinner and a WW chocolate mousse for a snack tonight. Really good day!
Congrats on your good day!!! I would have had a hard time resisting the frosty!! I usually save room for a non-fat caramel macchiato (4pts) every couple of days, they are my weakness. I had a pretty good day, I didn't feel well today either, so I didn't really eat until evening. Three points for a WW muffin (we went grocery shopping last night, and bought a bunch of WW stuff!), 2 points for Wasa crispbreads and non-fat cream cheese. Then I made the Uno's pizza I had bought in KC last weekend. We thought we'd have to tap into our Flex points, but 1 slice is 7 points, and I had veggies to keep me from binging. I'm working on a candy cane (0.5 points) now, and will probably have a WW dessert later.
Awesome job on Saturday, Crystal!!! So candy canes are .5 a point? I was shocked how many I took off our tree yesterday when we took it down! Most of them are cherry with a few regular and chocolate mint ones thrown in there. The chocolate mint are really the only ones I like. The others are okay, but very easy for me to pass on. Yesterday was another really good day. I found some fudge ice cream bars that have 0 points (Blue Bunny Health Smart, fudge, vanilla or strawberry creme) and they're pretty good! I forgot to get the WW ones at the commissary and they're EXPENSIVE at Safeway!!! Wal-Mart was completely out of them, so they must be good. The scale has either dropped or maintained since Thursday when I weighed in. I can't wait until this Thursday to see where it is! I'm taking the kids to the movies this afternoon. Hopefully I can resist the popcorn. I may stash a rice cake in my purse or jacket pocket. I should take a few candy canes, too! Wish me luck! Oh, I had a yummy breakfast this morning and it was only 3 points! Two low fat Nutri-grain waffles with one cup of frozen blueberries, heated up and spread on top. YUM! Have a great day!
Good luck at the movies!! I calculated that 0.5pt for a candy cane because 1oz is 1pt and the candy canes I have are 2 to a 6oz package, so 0.5oz each. I'll have to look for those Blue Bunny bars, Blue Bunny is a fairly new brand to me, I guess something only out in the mid-west area, but it's pretty good! I might have to try that breakfast, did I tell you about the 3pt egg breakfast? I've been counting points so much I can't remember!! I did go over by 2pts last night, I was CRANKY and wanted some GOOD carbs, like chewy French bread. I guess that's ok because of the Flex points, but it's becoming very difficult to stay on the plan when I really haven't seen any results. I've maintained, but not really lost weight, and it's depressing me!! Hope you have a great day, enjoy your movie!!
I made it through the movie without eating any popcorn! WOO-HOO! lol I'm sorry you haven't seen any results yet. I don't have any suggestions, but if I think of any I'll defiantly let you know. I forgot to tell you, I tried a Progresso Light soup yesterday--Southwestern-Style Vegetable. They have five flavors with 0 points and this is one of them. VERY good. It was spicy and I liked the beans in it. That gave it that extra umph that regular veggie soups are missing. I'm going to stock up on this flavor because it's on sale at Safeway for $1.25 a can. Our commissary doesn't carry the light line. I'll have to check the regular price at Wal-Mart--at Safeway it's regular $3.19. OUCH! Have a great New Year's Eve and don't pig out! lol I'll try not to. Last year we went to a friend's for fondue. We're not doing that this year so I should be good.
Well since I went to bed at 9:00 last night I did great on my points yesterday! rofl I stayed right around 20 even WITH KFC for dinner. I hate taking the skin off my chicken because honestly, that's my favorite part (especially extra crispy!) BUT it's just not worth the points. So I'm looking forward to my weigh in on Thursday. Crystal, I was thinking maybe you're already at a plateau with your weight. Usually you have to mix things up a bit when you hit that plateau. Maybe try a different exercise or workout? Are you using weights yet? If you start that now don't expect to loose any weight for a few weeks. You'll be burning fat but building muscle and although you won't see any weight loss you'll notice a different in how your clothes fit. Usually after about 3-4 weeks of lifting weights you start seeing that weight loss. It's frustrating, but just the way it is. I'll keep thinking...
