Today they had a muffins for moms day at my kids school. We got to eat with the kids, they had door prizes, then we got to go to their classroom. My ds is in 2nd grade and they read aloud things they wrote about their moms. My ds said I was special because I taught him to ride a bike, I sometimes watch tv with him, I always read stories, I am playful and make him cupcakes. Then he gave me a carnation. I loved hearing what the children had to say about their mothers. The things he mentioned about me are things I don't even think about!

The kindergarteners all made pinch pots for moms and filled them with candy. I saw them all wrapped up to go home. I didn't get to see what they looked like.

Ok, that totally made me tear up! So sweet. My daughter made me a GIANT heart pin with buttons glued on it. LOL "Mom, don't you want to wear it to dinner?" ;)

It is so cute when they bring that stuff home from school.
When ds was in preschool they each made a picture of htem with mom and said something about her. Then the teacher made copies and they gave us a book of all the drawings. My ds's said something like "My mommy is beautiful and she cuddles with me"
ALL the moms LOVED that. They were all so sweet. A lot of them liked going for walks with mommy and holding her hand.
It realy makes me want them to just stay so small and sweet.

I know both mine made me something at school. They hid them and are giving them to me tomorrow.
