Distended Bladder Update
Moms View Message Board: Parenting Discussion: Distended Bladder Update
Christopher went to see a pediatric urologist today and he says I don't have anything to worry about. He hasn't had anymore problems since that one day in the ER. The Dr looked over his CT scan and said everything looks great inside. No damage to cause a problem or anything. He says he is very sure that it was a blockage in his uretha and that the catheder removed that. On another note, I don't know how many of you remember me posting a while back about the adhesions he keeps having on his pee pee. I haven't been able to find a Dr that could fix it. He had it pulled back a quiet a few times when he was smaller and 2 times lately he was put to sleep for it because it would be too traumic to do it while he was awake now. Well this Dr. today told me that he can release the adhesions and revise his circumsion. He will have a few stitches and be a little sore for about a week but after it heals he should not have any other problems with this. Please keep him in your thoughts on this. He can't get in to have it done until April 3 but we have been dealing with this for 3 years, 3 more months isn't going to make much difference. I will just be so glad to have it done. Thanks for reading and TIA for you thoughts.
Poor little guy, he's been through so much, but at least it sounds like you are now on the right path. Hugs.
Sounds like you have the right doctor now!
Glad to hear the blockage has cleared up and it was nothing serious. I hope surgery and recovery for the penis adhesions go well. Poor kiddo! He'll be glad when that's over with.
Thanks you guys! We are hoping that after this surgery he will never have to deal with this again. I am so happy that the blockage is gone and there was nothing serious to worry about there.
