I am SO PROUD of my DD!!!!!
As many of you may remember, my poor DD has been having a terrible time with withholding her poop ever since we starting potty training, to the point where it was only coming once a week!!!!! We spoke with the DR., who recommended daily Benefiber and Flax Seed Oil. He did say it would take a couple of weeks to really see any effects. Well, we started on June 20th with a TBSP of both in her milk in the morning and at night, and ever since, she has been going every other day (but not in the potty!) We had a terrible time last weekend, when it was so warm and we were spending alot of time outside and in the pool, she actually went in her bathing suit while sitting on the pool steps!!! (Terrible, gross, yucky!!!!) So, on the way outside yesterday, I told her that if she had to go potty she had to tell mommy, or I couldn't let her go in the pool anymore! (she ALWAYS gets out to do #1, so...) Well, we got in there and twice she asked to go, went in there (we have a pool house with a bathroom, so it's not even really her "comfort zone") and let out some gas, pushed (quite funny), then said "No" and got up!!! The third time she asked, SHE DID IT!!!!! I was so proud of her! We did the "Poopy in the Potty" congo line dance all the way outside! We called daddy and he brought her a Dora the Explorer bathing suit doll to go swimming with her!!!! She was so excited! She actually asked to go again about an hour later, and did it again!!!!
I am totally taking this as a firm "she's getting it"!!!! Now, if we can do it in the house, we'll be all set!!!!
