My baby made his first sign (language)!

We went to our first of only 4 sign language classes last Thur. He just showed me "cracker!"...and keeps showing me LOL because I keep giving him one with each sign. I'm so excited. He just turned 15 months.
Isn't it fun? We did a sign, say, and play class. It was a blast! Have fun with it!!
Awwww. Sarah invented a sign, all by herself. When she was hungry or thirsty, she would open up her mouth and point to it!
That's so exciting!!!
Isn't that the coolest thing?!? My little day care girl who's 19 months now does about 5 or 6 signs (maybe more). Her first was milk. Her mom and I both got it, but her dad was clueless! lol She also does please, more, help and cracker. Her 2 1/2yo brother does all of those plus a few more (he's speech delayed and a major reason I started signing with the kids). One of these days I'm going to take a class. Good for your little man.
thats awesome. I knew a lady that tought her dauther to be completly bilingual with signing. I don't think enough people know how.
My sis-in-law has taught my 16 month old twin nephews some sign language, so they can communicate until they can talk better. They know please, more, horse, and a few others.
Thanks for sharing my excitement!
