My 16 month old!

My little Helen just told me potty. She said potty and pee pee. I have not been doing any potty training with her. She has just observed her brother using the potty and when I change her I'll kind of narrate if she's dry or what she's done. Out of curiosity, I put her on the potty - and she went pee pee! I am so excited! I can't believe it! Ok enough mommy brag. I am just so flabbergasted beacause it was out of the blue! It's a good first step to potty training! Ame
That's great!!! Natalie (19mths) just started telling me "poop, poop" when she goes. We haven't done anything related to potty training, other than to say "poop" when she goes. That's a great first step to potty training!
Woo Hoo! My dd did that, I complied when I could. She asked to wear panties at about 18 months and I let her. The rule was she could only have 2 pair a day. So when those got wet we put her in diapers. One day it dawned on me, she never wet any more and she woke up dry. It was amazing!
Wow, are you lucky. My kids just were not that interested, that early!
Ame, That's incredible, I'm happy for you!
Wow! How exciting. She sounds very independent!
My best friend's little boy potty trained at 16 months. I didn't believe that he was trained (and not the other way around) until I watched him for six hours. He would tell me he needed to go and went pee pee twice and pooped once! I was flabbergasted but apparently some kids are ready this early and some parents are that lucky! Lucky you!
When my second dd was 19 months she said "no" to diapers. She never had an accident, either. Daytime or nightime. Some kids are just ready. Woohoo, for you!
Wow, that is amazing. Good for her. You have one smart little girl there. Faith is almost 18 months and NEVER sais those words. That is fine by me. Im not much in the mood for potty training yet LOL...
That's great! She's indicating she has an interest, so I say go with it! She may not do it every time, but hey, it's a start!
Wow!! I hope she keeps it up! Even with older siblings in the house, none of ours ever did that at that age. Woo Hoo!
