My son's first fear...
I played this Sesame Street video from the library while I was trying to get dinner ready and all of the sudden I had a toddler getting up as fast as he could to run to me! He even tried to hide behind me! It was so cute. I couldn't help but giggle a little! He was afraid of the Cookie Monster. I think it was his squirrely eyes or something, but he would not leave my leg until that segment was over.
That is so funny! My brother loved Cookie Monster when he was little. Maybe Connor thought he was going to get gobbled up next.
Awww poor little poochy! Matthew watch Sesame Street for the first time this week. It's on at 10:30 am here. He also watched Elmo's World. I have to say Elmo is adorable, he wasn't apart of Sesame Street when I was young. Matt loves the show, I have a hard time getting him to sit in his chair, he always has his nose right up against the t.v. screen. What a great program though, I'm not sure how long it's been on the air, but I'm no spring chicken and I remember watching it. Personally I loved, Cookie, Oscar and Snuffy the best!
How cute! Connor wants a chair to sit in, I think. I have a little step stool for myself (to use in the kitchen) and he's always trying to sit on it. It must be SO uncomfortable!! Personally, I loved that little worm...slimy! He was just so cute!!! I got a CD from the library too and they did a Sesame Street version of the "Macarena" and Big Bird said "Shake your Tailfeather!"...I just about died laughing!!!
So cute Heidi! Natalie's 2 fears in life are 1)the vacuum cleaner and 2)when the satellite goes out (it scares her the way it blurs on the screen, even if she wasn't currently watching anything!). She just quietly walks to the laundry room and waits there, as serious as a heart attack, until all is well again.
*Sigh* Oh, I miss the Sesame Street years. Enjoy them while you can.
Catie at 4 is still afraid of ET. We have an interactive one, she has never seen the movie. We love Sesame street though.
