My 9 yo came home from school with pink eye, at least I thought. It was running around school and the school nurse sent him home saying it was so I called his ped and they just called in an RX. But his eye is still pink after treating it since thursday. Anybody got any ideas how long his eyes would be red, or should I be calling his ped?

I would go see the doctor, too! It seems that they only give about 5 days of drops to people, so if it's not better by now, he should be seen.

Go see the doc. In general pink eye only lasts a couple of days. Having a pink eye, as opposed to "conjunctavitis", can be many things though. It could be an allergy to something in the air, she could have something stuck in her eye irriatating it.
