In addressing our current math saga Someone on the board e-mailed me this game for multiplication:

Tried it again with my son - its a real video game. He thought it was a little scary because he doesn't like monsters but most boys would step right up.

thanks I'll try that one with my child too .... will let you know what he thinks ..... depends on how "scary" it is ...... differnce between Ben 10 Monsters or Stephen King Monsters, ya know ?

I tried it and it is hard for me to move the figure around where it is supposed to go but I'm sure my son will have no problem with it. I am just not a gamer. It's a great way to get kids to learn. My philosophy is that you can't force kids to learn, kids learn thru play and fun. (when they are younger, anyway)
