I am really in shock! We found out this afternoon. I just couldn't picture anything but a girl, since we have a girl already! It's slowly starting to sink in and I'm really happy! One of each will be really nice. Now, if I could just get my DD to warm up to the idea. She is dead set against having a brother. LOL!

Congratulations Eve! I have one of each (they are 18 months apart). I couldn't imagine a boy either, after my little girl. I wasn't sure if I would know what to do with a boy! LOL Now he's my little buddy and a big time mama's boy! You will love having a boy, they are lots of fun!

Syd will eventually warm up to the little brother thing. I"m sure she will be fine once she sees him!

A friend of mine has a little boy and he was mad that he would have to share his toys. When they found out it was a girl, he was happy bc he wouldn't have to share the toys after all.

Congratulations!!!!!!! My dd and ds are 9 years apart, they get along fine. When I found out it was a boy after having a girl only for 9 years I didn't think I would know what to do. Now that he is & has been here for the past 18 months he is the life of the house. Keeps me and dd in stitches. Syd will get used to the idea and then not be able to wait for him to get here.
