in 2 weeks, my baby will be 1! There will be about 35 people here, some with kids in various age ranges...any advice?
I made the party around Connor's sleep schedule 11-1pm and we are grilling.

Any theme ideas? I'm looking online now...
I don't want to go overboard since I know it's really a party for adults, but it's SOOOO tempting!
DH wants a keg at the party...LOL!!! Aaahh...men...the most predictable species on the planet!

DD 1st Birthday is at the same time, 11-2. Her party is going to be on the 25th. Here is what we are doing. I ordered two trays of finger sandwiches and have lots of extra side stuff like chips and potato salad. We are going to have Beer, soda, water and juice boxes. I am going to make her a flower cake and some extra cupcakes for the kids.

We are going to have about 10 children, all different ages (15 months-11 years). I went to the Dollar Tree Store and bought Bubbles, 4 big Bubble Wands, glow sticks and sidewalk chalk for the back patio. I figure the kids will play out in the backyard with all of the toys and the parents can all relax and enjoy the afternoon.

This is what we did for DS 1st birthday and it was alot of fun.

Our party is also on the 25th (Natalie's bday is on the 26th). We're having only family (which is about 17people all together). Hotdogs on the grill and chips. I ordered a strawberry shortcake cake for everyone, ice cream, and have a small strawberry shortcake cake for her to demolish. We're just having pop to drink. All the kids coming are over 5, so we will just be playing sports outside (baseball, badminton, etc.)It's at noon. I wanted '1st bday' "stuff" but it's too expensive for me, so I got lucky and found all 1st bday plates, bib, napkins, the whole nine on clearance at our local party store so I was really excited!

my dd first b-day party will be on the 23 rd of july, i am gonna have hamburgers and hot dogs and some salads .i will make party bags for the kids, we have a party outlet that i want to go on friday and get decorations and i am gonna make her invitations on the puter, we have a pool so i am hoping it will be nice so the kids can swim. boy, all our kids will be one around the same time.....lol....

I finally got a theme...Curious George...since he's our little monkey. (He grabs on to your shirt really tight with both hands while you hold him and likes to climb on things now.)
