My almost 12mth dd is now fully on cow's milk. We just started going from bottle to cup as well (she already uses a cup, just not for milk). Anyway, I know that before, the formula was the main source of nutrition for the first year and the oz. she took everyday were important. I always gave her the formula before solids. Does it work the same way with milk? It doesn't seem like it should, but I guess I just don't know. I haven't talked to my ped about this yet either, wanted to see what you guys did/thought first.
When you went to milk, did you offer it before solids, or just *with* the meal?

We offered milk in a sippy cup *with* meals and snacks.

I try to get Rylee to eat some before giving her milk. She will sometimes fill up on her milk before her meal is done. Once she has taken aboout 5 bites, I put the milk on her table.
