Nipple Question
Ok, strange title but that's what it is . It look to me that Matt had one inverted nipple and one that was out all the time. DH mentioned it to me a few times and I said don't worry about it. On closer inspection I realized it is not a nipple. It is a white "thing" that sticks out of where his nipple would be. It is starting to stick out further. It kind of looks like the one I have on mine, Montgomery? nipple thing from being pregnant. There is no tenderness or redness and so I'm really not worried. We have an appointment on June 29 for my OB check-up and I'll have the doctor look at it then. I'm thinking it could be just a milk duct thing, anyone have any ideas?
It could be, they say that sometimes that baby nipples can even leak milk because of the hormones from you. I wouldnt worry about it but would make a call to the dr's office just in case.
With Matt being over one year old I don't know that is what it would be. I thought it was only the first few weeks or maybe a month that they still have the hormones in them where they could leak milk or little girls could "spot" I could be wrong. I am clueless as to what else it would be though, let us know, now I am curious... I am sure everything is fine just maybe keep an eye on it until the 29th.
If it's what Rylee had, it's fine. Hers lasted a while, and oneday just popped. She was fine. Hers looked like a little zit.
Rayanne, that sounds similar, however, Matt's looks like a whitehead and it doesn't look like it's better bigger, just poking out further like it's going to pop off. Now I'm curious, I hope it stays on until the 29th so I can ask the doctor. Thanks all.
I guess that's what I meant~>Whitehead, instead of zit. Her doctor said that it was fine.
I think I got the mama's mixed up , didnt realize this was on an older baby. I would wait for the dr visit.
My ds gets what sounds about the same thing on his tummy where his incision is. I have always just left them alone & they went away.
