Seven years ago today my youngest child, Bethany, was born. WHERE did all the time go?! The other night while tucking her in she seemed a little sad. We cuddled and I asked her what was wrong. She said, "Mom, I'm not ready to turn 7." I chuckled to myself and asked why she felt that way. Her reply, "I'm just not ready. *Heavy Sigh* I have so many memories..." Lately we have been encouraging her to be more responsible and I believe the comment, "Now that you'll be a 7 yr. old," was mentioned a few times. Apparently she's having mixed feelings about being a big girl and having more expected of her. I told my parents about her comment and my Dad laughed and said, "Tell her I wasn't ready when I turned 7-0 either!" LOL!
