I post at another message board and everyone disagrees when the start of the 2nd trimester begins. The things I have been reading say that 13 weeks is the start, but then others say 14 weeks. I just don't get how this can be so widely different.

Just curious what you think.....I'm 13 weeks today, so I'm sticking with today for me. LOL! It makes me feel better.

I guess I figured when the first 12 weeks was over with, then I was in the second trimester. So, I guess it would be 13 weeks.

Thanks, everyone. Now, you would think it would sink in more....I'm wearing maternity clothes, my DD tells me my stomach is big, I have heartburn and nausea, I feel movement. I guess in December it will feel more real. LOL!

I always went by the first day of the 13th week but if you do it mathematically....3 goes into 40 12 and 1/3 times. So mathematically that would be the second or third day of the 13th week. Ok throw the shoe, I'm ducking.

I always said that the first day of the 13th week was my 2nd trimester too, but mathematically, it looks like Kristie is right...LOL
