Do your kids toe nails grow upwards? Rylee's big toenails grow up. I have to keep them so short to prevent it from happening. Will she outgrow this or is this how her big toenails will be?

My dh's do this. My guess is that it is just her growth pattern and will stay this way. My son's toenails curl down and will push against the skin so we have to keep his so short too.

Both of my kids' nails grow down, curving like Cori mentioned. My pinky toenail grows kinda upwards, it's weird.

Rayanne, Joey's big toenails grow upwards. When he was a baby i thought it was like that because he was crawling but it has never stopped. I guess that is just the way some toenails grow?

I never really thought about it before, but the only toenails of mine that grow upward are the third and fourth.

I have wondered this myself!!! My 10mth dd has both big toenails and her one index nail that both curl up and I have to keep them short. If they are even the slightest bit long they get caught on something and tear. It's weird.
