Both my kids woke up with stomach aches this morning. Then they both rushed to the bathroom. They both have diarrhea. AND my dd threw up. She hasn't gone to the bathroom or thrownup in about an hour...i think she is feeling a bit better. Poor ds though. He gets bad stomach aches and curls up into a little ball and whines. Then he goes to the bathroom. So, he isn't going to preschool today.

Tonight they were supposed to have their friends come play at the Little Gym for "bring a friend" night. I guess we will have to cancel that. and they were so looking forward to it.

This is school vacation week and we were supposed to visit friends in NH but had to cancel because DD is sick. Just took her to the ped. this morning because I was concerned she may be coming down with pneumonia. The ped. said so far her lungs are clear but to keep a close eye on her. DS woke up at 3 a.m. this morning with a fever and claiming he felt as if he was going to throw up. Now I'm not feeling so hot either. What a lovely way to spend a vacation! At least they're not missing school. Oh, the weather is gorgeous and we're stuck inside.

yes it is around 80 here today. It is going to rain tomorrow and go back down to 60 this weekend. So it really stinks to be inside today.

Oh also, tomorrow is my birthday. I don't want to have to take care of 2 sickies on my birthday! Oh well, i guess that is what you have to do when you are a mom!
