Connor had his 9 month appt!
He's 21 pounds and 3 ounces, his height is 31", and his head circumference is well...we'll just say it's in the 97th percentile! LOL! His height is also up there so he said that's normal to have a big head too. If his name were Todd, we'd have to call him "Big Head Todd"...ha ha ha...ok, not that funny, Heidi... Our ped asked us if we had any guns in the house and, just to be fair to the hubby, I said, "Not other than my husband's biceps!" I said proudly. The ped tried very hard to hold in his laughter...he was still laughing when he came back into the room. I just love our new pediatrician and nurse staff. I had to switch bc our other place wouldn't return phone calls within a few hours and the receptionists/nurses seemed unsympathetic. Not to mention the doctor held Connor like he was an alien. I'm just SOOOOO pleased with his new doctor and nurse staff! They hold him like he's their own!! They even coo at him and smile...aaahhh...so nice.
I'm glad you found a ped. practice you love. It's so important and makes a world of difference. We love ours and have been going there for 7 yrs.. It's nice for the kids to "grow up" with the same doctors. My DS was a big boy like Connor. Just checked his baby book and at 9 mos. he was 23 lbs. 4 oz. and 30.5". FWIW, by preschool he was in the 50th% size wise and has pretty much stayed there.
Shane was always big, especially for a twin, but our ped doesb't measure head circumference at each appointment. He does have a big head though, hopefully that'll be a sign of intelligence! The flip side is Maddie is *so* small, she's 34 months and only weighs 26lbs. **sigh** Glad everything went well!
Glad to hear your good news! Randy was also a big boy. Helen is going the same way - she's 18 pounds now - at 6 months! Ame
