Waking up dry
Rylee has been waking up dry from her naps a lot lately. Not every day, but most days. When she does this, I sit her on the potty for about 3 minutes, and nothing. She keeps saying all done, but nothing happens. Does anyone have any suggestions, or should I just wait until she is a little older?
I think that it is a good way to get he interested in potty training. Have you showed her any DVD's? Maybe keep an eye on how long after she wakes up that her diaper gets wet, then set her on the toilet around that time.
If she isn't going when you put her on the potty try waiting a while then putting her on...like Emily said. My mom always would turn the water on, she said it may make them feel the urge to pee when they hear the runnign water. who knows? it's worth a try I guess.
The running water is true, it makes me go and I'm well past potty trained. I also use this technique in the Dr.s Office when DD has to give a urine sample and can't go.
