The teacher at Connor's school went out of her way to let me know that he's doing the #5 object box at his Montessori school! (Highest level) That means he is reading 5-7 letter words and matching them with objects!!! She said that it's very rare for a 3 yr old to do that and the owner of the school even said she took a "triple take".

So, they said they'll send home books over the weekend to get him to read at home to challenge him more. D'awwww...melted me!!!

He's also talking sooooooooo much more lately. It's amazing how he went from being "speech delayed" to "never shutting up". LOL He'll watch the news with me now and explain what is happening on the roads (traffic). Cracks me up. He's also very good at introducing people and the teachers at school love having him at lunch on Mondays and Fridays because he is talking very well at the table, asking kids "how their day is"...LOL!! They say he converses very well with the 5 yr olds...aaahhh, now if only I can get him to eat vegetables!

Gush away. Thats wonderful news and I'm sure it did you and Scott's hearts good to hear that. Congratulations to you for all your work you do wih him paying off. and a big super super big high five to Conner. Keep up the good work both of you thats great. my son was the same way quiet as a church muose one day and talking talkign talking the next, he talks all the time , but he's informational he tells you things ( explains the news, good night show) liek Conner, asks a lot of questions abotu things he is intrested in. My dd bought his a shirt for Christmas that says mom and dad taught me how to walk and talk now all they want me to do is sit down adn be quiet. He told me the other day he need a telescopre to look at the stars( 4 years old) call me crazy but he expressed intrest in it so this weekend i'm going to look for one. Sorry to go on and on, but liek you said it just melts you to hear that your kids are doing so wonderful.
