I'm trying to get some 'data' about generally when kids give up AM naps. I'm trying to make a decision about working in August (teacher). I would love to know from everyone at about what age your kids gave up AM naps? I so appreciate it! I know my dd will do her own thing, but this is my first and I don't know when this often occurs. DD only naps from 1-3pm these days. She gave up am naps at about 16 months.

My kids dropped down to one afternoon nap at about 12-15 mos.. They're all different.

My 1st ds was 16 months. My 2nd was only 10 months. It really depends on the child. My 2nd gave his morning nap up early, but I just put him to bed early. It worked out for us because my oldest was 2 then and went to bed at 7:30, so I just put them both to bed then.

Both of mine gave up the morning nap at around 12-14 months. Now they just nap around 1 or 1:30 and take a good 2 to 3 hour nap.

All three of mine gave up morning naps around 1 year.
