My dd is 3 going on 4. We are potty training and She will go pee in the potty but I can't get her to go pooh she has been peeing in the potty for quite awhile she always goes and never pee's in her pantys but she will pooh and I don't know what to do. I will put her on the potty for awhile to see if she will pooh but as soon as i get her up she will pooh. I am so frustrated and don't know what to do. Any advice you can give will help out millions. She wants to go to preschool next year and I keep telling that she has to start poohing in the potty she says okay but never happens

Is she wearing pull-ups? My little brother was 4 when my mom finally stopped buying pull-ups, and told him "This is it, now you either go in the potty or in your big boy pants." It worked, when nothing else would.

she is wearing panties. I don't care for pull ups to me they are just like a diaper. We even bought her her favorite cartoons undies and she likes them but will still pooh

I was about to post the exact same question. Kaleigh is doing the same thing. I guess maybe it's normal, but I'm at my wits end too.
