Tomorrow on base here 21st Century and CHP are putting together a Child Safety Car Seat Fair so i'm going to go to make sure DD's carseat is installed correctly. I think it is after reading through the Britax manual at least 4-5 times (lol) but better safe than sorry. Oh, and Erik Estrada (the hunk from "Chips") will be there for a meet and greet! Just thought i'd share. Your advice and safety information has pushed me to go and get it checked out! Thanks!

Well, I'm envious. We don't have celebrities at Car Seat Checks in my neck of the woods! LOL! Erik Estrada, eh? I watched CHIPS as a teen and had a thing for Larry Wilcox (the blonde).

I was just at the CHP office yesterday getting my car seat checked and I saw the flier for the Safety Check on Camp Pendelton and that Mr. Estrada will be there. They are also giving away car seats to people that don't have one or have a broken one. Very nice, if you ask me.

By the way Trina.....DH installed our seat perfectly and the CHP officer was very impressed. The only thing I had to change was take a Baby Mirror off the headrest of DD seat. I was bummed about that because she loves looking at herself and looking at all the lights.

Oh Cat, you're really taking me down memory lane! I forgot about John Gage. Did a little surfing and look what I found. He has aged quite nicely! Hmm, hm! You know, my handyman is a nice looking older gentleman, and he has always reminded me of someone but I could never put my finger on who. Now it has hit me! He looks like John Gage!

I just talked to DH and convinced him to go with me by mentioning there will be a "popular" person there, lol! Turns out DH's stepmom who passed away in 2001 dated Erik Estrada in her late 20's. Too Funny!
