I know a few of us have been talking about getting new car seats. Toys R Us has $10 off all car seats/travel systems (they are having their baby sale) I got the Evenflo Chase car seat Trina recommended for $49.99, they fit in our vehicle much better, and the kids love them! They also have the front adjust straps, arm rests, cup holder, convert to a belt positioning booster, and are great for smaller cars. Just thought I'd let everyone know now might be a good time to shop.

BTW, it took me 4 tries to post that, after the preview it kept saying Authentication error. This has been happening a lot to me... anyone else having problems or know what's wrong?

Crystal, glad to hear the seats are working out well for you. I recently took advantage of the ToysRUs sale myself. I'm now the owner of a new Graco Snugride with a 5 pt. harness and a front harness adjuster. NO, no baby news on the home front! I wanted to get an infant seat to use for demonstration purposes when I do CPS presentations AND I'm going to practice installing it in different vehicles and positions. (Yes, I'm a car seat geek! )

I've had the Authentication error thing happen a few times, too. I think it's just a glitch on the board that happens occasionally.

LOL Trina, it's ok to be a car seat geek! I actually find myself recalling more and more of the things you've told us, so it's nice to have safety info! Baby seats were the worst, I'm so glad we're past that stage.
