This morning dd woke up, took off her diaper like pants (she wears Huggies convertibles) and went and sat on the toilet and started to pee. Wow, My other dd wasn't potty trained until she was 2. Hailey has shown such a huge interest in it though. Maybe I will be diaper free a couple months before the new baby gets here...YAY!!! :)

Woo-Hoo!!!! That's awesome! I'm sure you could use the diaper break too! :)

She has big sis as a roll model! Good Luck! In my case that made all the difference! My youngest was potty trained at 20 months...It was sooooooooooo nice! I went downstairs to do laundry and my oldest dd (then 3) was like mommy I put sissy on the potty and she went so I put a diaper back on her! I'm thinking I was gone for 3 minutes!! I was unsure about how soon she would potty train initially, because she hadn't learn to walk until she was 18 months old, and that took 6 months of physical therapy so when she potty trained two months later I was proud!

She didn't have any defects but she had went 6 months being very bloated from food allergies that my doctor diagnosed as colic! She also had a very serious bacteria in her intestines called C.Diff that was also not detected. All the bloating caused the muscles in her back and legs hadn't strengthened. Her belly was actually so bloated she couldn't sit up! One week into the two week medication for the bacteria it had toned down enough for her to sit! She was so tiny I can't believe my doctor argued with me so much (only 17lbs on her first bday!)

Anyhow long story short its amazing the difference between the first and second child!

So it wasn't a fluke, tonight she did it again, she started to pee in her diaper and took it off and ran to the potty, and went PEE! I am so proud, still. DH cannot believe it. :)

WTG! I know that's exciting, especially when it's unprompted!

You will probably notice that she will do a lot of things earlier than your oldest dd. When they have a sibling close to their own size they seem to try to emulate them. Second children will often walk, talk, bottle break, potty train sooner than the first child.. Best of luck that this is it, so you can have a wee break from diaper duty..

Yesterday she went potty 3 times. Now I ask her and if she has to go she runs as fast as she can to the bathroom, but if she doesn't she just looks at me and says no and shakes her head..lol This may seem normal for most of you, but this is supposed to be my baby, and she is growing up way too fast. :(
