I got a catalog from OneStepAhead, which has lots of interesting stuff for kids, including a variety of gates - including gates which can be expanded or added to for homes which have "open floor" plans, and other stuff for safety. Turns out Feona has a 10% off coupon - check out the "O-Q" menu at the top of the board.

When I asked other moderators, Trina did say some of the car safety stuff they offer is not approved by the CPS Tech program does NOT recommend, and you would have to ask her about that. But I saw a number of things I wish had been available when I had small children, at what I believe to be reasonable prices.

I've ordered lots of stuff from One Step Ahead in the past. As Ginny mentioned above, they do sell after market products for car seats, which are NOT recommended. Both by CPS experts and car seat manufacturers. More info:

Great catalogue, but overpriced!!!
Look there for items, then shop around. I got two items on ebay for less than half the price listed in One Step Ahead.
