Rylee's 9month Check-Up
I took Rylee to the doctors today for her 9 month check up and everything is fine. She is 27&1/2 inches long and weighs 19pounds 14ounces. What a little chunk. All they did today was prick her little finger to check her iron and she didn't even cry. She was such a big girl. The results came back fine, and the doctor said that she had gd blood. That's my girl. He does recommend that she get a flu shot since she has been on Albuterol(SP?) with a nebulizer in the past and says that she is a good candidate. I made her an appointment for that next Monday. Hopefully all will go well, and my little girl won't get sick this season.
She is getting so big!!! Christopher just went for his 9 month, and he is the same length, but he weighs 21 lbs 8 oz. We have the cutest babies I'm glad she was good at the drs, you should be proud!
Awww.... shes getting so big! Just think her next appointment she will be a big 1 year old girl!
I know!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it!!!!!!! Time sure does fly.
Oh man Jade went in for her 6 month 2 weeks ago and is 27 3/4 inches long and 18# 2oz oh my is my baby big or what!!!
I don't remember the length and I don't want to dig out a baby book, but my older daughter was 18 pounds at 6 months, too! LOL!
I'm glad it was a good check up! They grow too fast!
I am glad all went well. With the flu shot she will have to get 2, 1 month apart if she has never had one.
She has never had one. Thanks for letting me know Emily. Oh, BTW, do you know if kids usually get sick from it?
Rayanne, both my ds's and I got a flu shot last year. We didn't get sick from it. My youngest ds has asthma and uses albuterol. My ped. said he is at high risk, so needs a flu shot again. Yes, she does have to get 2 if she hasn't had one before.
Rayanne time does go by fast! Ds is almost 10months and a big "chunk" too LOL!!! He is standing which means he will be walking soon! Yep, I can remember the first 3 months and lack of sleep. Not to mention hair loss, but that's fine because my hair has grown back nicely! Happy to hear Rylee is in great health!
