today is the first day of school for my kids, the house is a disaster and im not going to clean it! im going to use the peace and quiet to organize the summers photos.

First day of school for my kids too! Just dropped dh off at his truck, driving kids to school, trying to figure out timing so I make sure I am not late for work, and it is only 7:31 am. Should be better tommorrow, I will have my own car to go to work, dd is using it this morning for her work, so had to use dh car, and other dd, will know what the city bus schedule is. My house is a disaster too! but will have to wait untill after work. Got to go, rush rush

First day for us too, except we are homeschooling.

Today has gone pretty smoothly. She is on her own as we are using DVD teaching. The nice thing about this is I can work here in my office while she schools in the den. Very cool!

Yes first day of school here as well. My daughter started Kindergarten today, and my son went into the 5th grade. I cant believe I have 2 kids in the same school..WOW..where did the time go.. My daughter was so excited about her first day. She loves to be with the other kids, and I think its great when kids are excited about being in school.

We started last week Wednesday. They only had 3 days. This week, 4 days, because of Labor Day. Next week will finally be 5 days worth. We seem to be getting into a system.

My older boys started Aug. 19. So they've been back in the routine for a couple of weeks now. My 5th grader went with his class today on an overnight trip, to the Ozark Natural Science Center. They do all kinds of nature hikes (even do a night hike) he is really into that kind of thing. He was up VERY early this morning he was so excited to go.

I *finally* found a new preschool I was happy with for my baby (4yo). We just got home from our visit. He was crying when we left because he wanted to stay! LOL I feel so much better. He starts tomorrow. He'll go M-Th 12:00-3:00pm... yippeee! We plan to hold him back an extra yr and this school offers a *bridge* class he can take next yr. before he moves on to Kindergarten.

juju, I won't be cleaning my house tomorrow afternoon when I finally have some alone time!! I'll be doing homework.
