Do/Did any of your kids do this?
Lately, when I am feeding Rylee her food, she shoves her pointer and middle fingers in her mouth and chews/sucks them with the food in her mouth. I was wondering if any of your kids do/did this and if you know why? I think that maybe it is because she is teething, but am not sure. It doesn't bother me, infact it is kind of cute, but I just wanted to know.
Yup, normal stuff. Both my kids did it at that age. EVERYTHING goes into the mouth. They're very oral. Got any pics??
She's probably teething. My kids did this also, with alot of drool. Yummy!
Yes, Kaitlyn just got over that stage not too long ago. Definitely cute! I *know* there will be pics, right?? LOL!
I have read and heard that it helps them to swallow/chew their food. My son is 6 months old and he does this when he eats his food. Yes, it is cute but VERY messy. LOL!
I haven't got pitures yet, everytime I go to take one, she looks at me and takes her hand out of her mouth. I took pictures yesterday, but her face is just messy. I am going to try and get some though and I will post them.
Olivia does this all the time too. It does get VERY messy, bu t is cute.
Christopher has been doing this until just recently. I have also heard that it helps them learn to chew and swallow there food. It is cute, but so messy! Christopher would put his hands in his mouth, rub them on the high chair, in his hair, in his ears, on his clothes... you name it, it had baby food on it!
BTDT with all 3 of my kids Very Cute, and Very Messy.
Sure. Happened with my kids too. I read somewhere that kids this age "learn with their mouth" how things taste, how things feel, everything goes straight into the mouth!! LOL but messy, too. AJ
