I am so excited! My 5yr old just pulled out his first tooth!! It's tthe first one that came in when he was a baby! I called my dh and was crying because I get emotional over things like this and he thought something bad had happened. It was funny. So anyway, we have set a trap for the tooth fairy. I told him that if you trap her she will disappear but she will leave glitter from her wings behind and that is how you know that youv'e trapped her. He also left a note for her saying that if she wanted to she could give his tooth to a baby that dosen't have any. Well I think he's finnally asleep so I think it's time for the "tooth fairy" to get to work. I just had to share that with everyone!!

Not silly! {{{HUGS}}} I've had a lot of fun with the Tooth Fairy. DS (almost 8) has lost several teeth, and I'm anxiously waiting for DD (6) to start losing hers. Our tooth fairy leaves notes on fancy paper along with money or little gifts (new toothbrushes, floss, stickers, etc.).

The tooth fairy came and ds was so excited that we caught her. He has called all hhis friends and told them that we caught her so all these kids have come over to look in the shoe box full of fariy wing glitter! He got 5 dollars because this tooth has been loose for a long time and he had a hard time getting it out. Plus you can't buy much with the amount that the tooth fairy use to leave me. He was so excited in the morning that I started to cry again. Every time he experences something new this big I feel like I'm haveing the same feeling he does! I love watching his face as these milestones hit him. It makes me remember that its the simple things that make us happy. Life really dosen't have to be so complicated, we just make it that way.
